QuikSense is the most affordable wellness and temperature check solution available that meets the highest federal health standards
PHOENIX, August 27, 2020 – IntraEdge today announced production of the first QuikSense devices to be certified to comply with the FDA’s IEC 80601-2-59-2017 specification. QuikSense, IntraEdge’s proprietary thermal temperature sensor solution, leads the market as the accurate, credible and affordable wellness and temperature check option for hospitals, schools and businesses to leverage in their COVID-19 strategies.
As businesses nationwide reopen their doors, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend daily health checks but not all thermal solutions on the market meet the same standards. The only way to ensure accuracy is to test each product to the highest health standard. Each QuikSense device undergoes individual FDA certification to the IEC 80601-2-59-2017 standard and provides +/- 0.5º F level of accuracy.
QuikSense leverages the Truyo Platform, an IntraEdge product, powered by Intel®, to power its Health-Check Management Solution providing comprehensive screening wellness and temperature checks, robust reporting and data protection and privacy compliance. At $500, plus the software license, QuikSense is 14% of the cost of current leaders on the market.
“If you’re not questioning your thermometer’s accuracy, you should be,” said Dan Clarke, President at IntraEdge. “By selecting an option with a lower level of accuracy, businesses falsely portray a level of health and safety for their employees and patrons that cannot be proven. With QuikSense, businesses can ensure they are meeting the health and safety requirement with tested accuracy that is essential to support a safe return to work.”
Individually tested and labeled to conform to the FDA certification IEC 80601-2-59-2017 standard, QuikSense guarantees the highest level of medical-grade temperature accuracy on the market, enabling hospitals, schools and businesses to trust the temperature displayed. The QuikSense device captures an individual’s temperature by scanning their wrist. Wrist temperatures have been validated by researchers as an equally accurate non-contact alternative to forehead scans.
To meet each hospitals’, schools’ and businesses’ needs, QuikSense can be used with existing hardware, like a laptop or desktop computer, or IntraEdge’s self-check temperature kiosk, Janus which was co-developed with Pyramid Computer. Both the individual QuikSense devices and those in the Janus kiosks will be tested to conform to the FDA certification IEC 80601-2-59-2017 standard.
QuikSense is available now for nationwide order and delivery. It is manufactured in Arizona and is ready to ship in less than two weeks. To learn more, please visit: www.truyo.com/healthcheck
